Pre Tan Prep Instructions.
Your Skin is my canvas.
Your dream tan starts with prepping your skin at home...
○ HYDRATE:
In the days leading up to your tan, drink extra water and
moisturize your skin. Hydrated skin is best!
○ HAIR REMOVAL:
Complete any desired hair removal (shaving , waxing or sugaring etc.) 24 to 48 hours before your appointment so that your pores have time to close. If shaving, use a razor WITHOUT a moisture strip
○Please Avoid oil based products, exfoliating acids and Retinoids, pimple patches for 48 hours before your tan.
○ SHOWER the night before you tan (not the day of).
We recommend using Method or Native body wash.
Please DO NOT use Dove, Oil of Olay or anything white and creamy as it will leave a film on your skin that can affect the development of your tan
○ EXFOLIATE:
Exfoliate head to toe, 24 hours before your appointment putting extra focus on dry areas. Use an exfoliating mitt or wash cloth.
Please do not use a store bought scrub as it will leave a film on your skin that can affect the development of your tan. Instead it it best to use an exfoliating mitt or brush or dry brush.
○Please AVOID: wearing moisturizer, perfume, deodorant, or
makeup to your appointment. Arrive with clean skin.
○ Please BRING: Loose, dark top (long sleeves) and pants to to
wear home. Slip on shoes like "CROCS:" or UGGS are perfect.
○Please PLAN: do NOT go swimming, sauna or workout/sweat in the 24 hours following your appointment. Give this time for your tan to develop.
